Port a crib/ car seat stroller

Hi Hershey Ward sisters,
My sister and her husband and my nephew are coming for Christmas and I am trying to lighten their load of baby things to bring.   I am looking for a port a Crib to borrow toward the end of December for about two weeks and I am also looking for a stroller that can fit a carseat in it to also borrow. Free couch

We have a couch that we need to get rid of before our move in about a month. Let me know if anyone is interested otherwise we will post it in the free section on Craigslist.

The couch is old, about 10yrs, but is still comfortable and the cushion covers are slipcovered and can easily be removed to throw in the washer and dryer. Very kid friendly :) Also, there is a small toddler work of sharpie marker art on the back but if it's against a wall you will never see it.

Yard Sale on Saturday

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe there will be a yard sale this Saturday May 25th at the University Manor apartments at 7 am.

Neighborhood Yard Sale

Friday April 26th and Saturday April 27th 
8am to noon in Palmyra
Streets involved: 
Cottonwood Court, Sweetwater Drive, Arbor Lane, Limestone Lane, Wickerberry Lane, Blackberry Lane, Ladderback Lane, Hedge Row Lane, and Pickwick Circle will be participating. 
This is my neighborhood and there are many families that will be selling kid items, and at least one leather sofa from what I've gathered. Plus some of the neighbors bbq food for it. Sometimes the neighborhood to the west of us piggybacks on our yard sale although I think they have their own as well. Happy hunting ladies!

Free little girly bike

Hey hey!

I haven't posted on the ward blog in ages! Well you might see a few posts from me as we sift through our junk stuff to pack it up for our upcoming move the end of May. :)

Here is the first item, get it while it's hot...

A friend gave it to us and now we're passing it along. It's still in great shape. It also has training wheels, I just need to find where we put them. :) I don't know what size it is but probably good for a 4 or 5-year-old.

Let me know if you want it. I can bring it to church on Sunday.

We also will be selling our patio set for $25 and our detached dishwasher (on wheels) for $60 if anyone is interested. The patio set and dishwasher will be available the last week of May. If you are interested let me know and I can email you pictures. The dishwasher works like a dream and the patio set is super cute, it just needs a coat of paint.

Macy's, Teenage girls' clothes, furniture & figure skates

1. Jeffrey and I got two 10% Off Macy's coupons from our hotel on our honeymoon. Neither one of us shop at Macy's.. (I don't even know if there is one around here). But if you could use it, let me know!

2. Our small apartment can't handle all these clothes in the closet. So I've stripped it of anything I haven't really worn. XS & S. If you need any clothes for your teenage girls, perhaps some of these can be useful to you! I tried contacting the bishop's storehouse, but they aren't accepting clothes right now.

3. Thank you to the Biggers for a lovely dining table! If anyone has chairs, we'd love to borrow or buy them.

4. I have brand new size 9 white figure skates for women that are a tad too big for me. Free to any enthusiasts.

Little Tikes Basketball Hoop

We have sadly outgrown our Little Tikes basketball hoop and are ready to let someone else have it.  We lost the little piece that adjusts the height, but we've used duct tape and it works fine.  If you're interested, please let me know.  We'd like it out of here asap.  I'll even drop it off to you!

Reception Help Needed!

Hi Sisters!

Jeffrey & I are back in Hershey from Utah where we were sealed on 12/21/12 at 10 a.m. at the Salt Lake City Temple! It has been an amazing adventure, and we are looking forward to celebrating with you on 1/12 from 7-9 p.m. at our church building (cultural hall).

Heather Jones is designing the reception with the help of many talented sisters, and we need your help! We need to borrow the following:

- Plant clippers/gardening scissors
- Christmas lights of all flavors--strings, lantern lights, icicles, plain... label w/piece of tape
- Step ladders
- Tall large vases (clear/blue/brass/green/gold)
- Peacock feathers/decorations

We have a peacock theme...jewel tones of rich green, blue, and gold.. If you have any ideas/decorations, please let Heather or me know!

We could also use volunteers to help on Friday night at 6:30 PM (1/11)...setting up decorations, putting pictures in frames, etc.  I'll organize babysitting for your children if you'd be willing to come & help. Thank you so much!
